In 1985, as thrash metal continued to make it's way out of the underground, two albums that were released 6 months apart set out to take the world by storm. First, on the west coast, Exodus released their long awaited (by fans!) debut album Bonded by Blood. Similarly, on the east coast, Overkill unleashed their debut Feel the Fire. Both bands are still going strong in 2025 and we love it! on this episode, we go head-to-head to see which debut album made you headbang more than the other! Way back on Episode #39 during our first year in 2020, we premiered an episode format that went over great with the listeners.  It was the Greatest Hits show. But those first few shows didn’t use the same format for choosing what we think are a band’s greatest hits as we do now. So at the suggestion of one of our listeners, we are re-doing the episode to do it the way we have perfected it. The first band we did was Megadeth, so they are the first one we will redeaux!
